The FAST1™ Intraosseous Infusion System is designed to establish a sternal intraosseous access route to patients when standard venous access is not possible. Using the sternal IO access route, providers can rapidly deliver lifesaving fluids and medications to facilitate emergency resuscitation through the bone marrow space. FAST1™ can be effectively used during CPR and when a cervical spine collar is in place.
It is an intuitive device that includes a target patch which provides insertion guidance for the exact placement of the system and, as such, it is ideal for downrange conditions in austere and combat environments.
