Das EFAK, das Expeditionary First Aid Kit von North American Rescue, wurde als kompaktestes, vielseitig einsetzbares IFAK für die sofortige Intensivversorgung bei penetrierenden Verletzungen, Explosionsverletzungen oder anderen traumatischen Verletzungen konzipiert. Mit der Hälfte der Größe unserer beliebten TORK-Plattform ist das EFAK derzeit die kleinste Plattform in unserem Produktangebot.
Trotz seiner geringen Größe ist dieses Kit voll ausgestattet mit der wichtigsten medizinischen Ausrüstung, die von militärischen Ersthelfern im Einsatz am häufigsten nachgefragt wird. Das Behandlungspaket ist die erweiterte Version und erfüllt die Anforderungen für militärische Ersthelfer im Einsatz.
Die superkompakte 500-Denier-Nylontasche des EFAK lässt sich seitlich in einer Muschelschalenkonfiguration öffnen und verwendet (2) zwei Hauptfächer, die sich für einfachen Zugriff an beiden Enden öffnen lassen und über mehrere elastische Schlaufen zur sicheren Organisation der Ausrüstung verfügen.
Die Außenseite der Tasche verfügt über eine MOLLE-Rückseite zur Befestigung in der standardmäßigen vertikalen Position sowie eine 3-Zoll-Innenhülle zur horizontalen Befestigung an Ihrem Dienstgürtel. Die vertikale Halterung kann je nach Präferenz des Schützen so eingestellt werden, dass sie sich von links nach rechts oder von rechts nach links öffnet.
Der TQ/Halter wird an den (3) drei MOLLE-Streifen auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Reißverschlussöffnung befestigt. Der EFAK wird außerdem mit einem zusätzlichen TQ-Halter und Tourniquet geliefert, das separat vom EFAK platziert werden kann und die (2) Tourniquet-Anforderung des militärischen Expeditionsministeriums erfüllt.
Ebenfalls enthalten ist ein Klettpatch auf der Vorderseite der Tasche zur individuellen Benutzerbeschriftung.
