Product information
The TrueClot® Wound Packing Task Trainer has been enhanced based on customer feedback to provide the most realistic external and internal wound anatomy. With an added bonus of 1 liter of TrueClot Blood Simulant concentrate and 5 packs of 4 ft Simulated Hemostatic training gauze included for free, the Task Trainer is the perfect tool for realistic and effective wound packing practice.
This particular TrueClot® Task Trainer is specifically designed to replicate the process of wound packing and to showcase the effective use of advanced hemostatic gauzes with LUNA'sTrueClot® Clotting Blood Simulant. The realistic large caliber gunshot wound can be filled with LUNA's Simulated Hemostatic Gauze while TrueClot® Blood Simulant is simultaneously introduced through the attached 1 liter squeeze bottle. The gauze will realistically form blood clots and produce a flow of simulated blood from the wound upon contact with the blood simulant.
Unlike other models such as the Laceration and Small Caliber Gunshot Wound variations, this Task Trainer includes a hard plastic simulated bone within the wound, complete with a fracture/defect that can be easily removed for cleaning.
TrueClot Task Trainers are an excellent way to introduce your trainees and students to realistic hemorrhage control for TCCC, TECC, TEMS, PHTLS, and general wound packing techniques for advanced hemostatic gauze training.
These improved Task Trainers now include these features:
- Point of bleeding not in line with inlet tube
- Inlet tube no longer protrudes into wound space so users can't feel the tube surface when wound packing
- More durable exterior paint
- Extra one way valve included
Task Trainer Includes:
- 1ea Wound (GSW)
- 1ea Blood Delivery Bottle with Tubing
- 1ea One Way Valve
Plus - FREE:
5ea Hemostatic Training Gauze
1ea Blood Simulant Concentrate (makes 1 liter of simulant)
The task trainer is made from sturdy silicone, has no moving parts and is designed to be used over and over again. TrueClot® Blood Simulant will wash easily from the trainer with water even if the blood simulant has dried. An included one-way valve ensures that the TrueClot® Blood Simulant does not back flow into the 1 liter bottle during use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about SEAL
What is SEAL Hemostatic Spray?
SEAL is an FDA-cleared hemostatic spray designed to rapidly stop bleeding. It works by forming a gel barrier over the wound upon contact, instantly halting blood flow while promoting the natural clotting process.
How does SEAL work?
SEAL uses a proprietary formula that reacts with blood to instantly form a protective gel barrier. This barrier physically stops bleeding while simultaneously activating the body's natural clotting factors, providing both immediate and sustainable hemostasis.
Is SEAL safe to use?
Yes, SEAL is FDA-cleared for over-the-counter use. The formula is non-toxic and does not cause tissue damage. It has undergone rigorous testing to ensure safety and effectiveness in a variety of applications.
Can SEAL be used on all types of wounds?
SEAL is designed for external use on minor to moderate wounds. It should not be used on severe arterial bleeding that requires immediate medical attention, deep puncture wounds, or internal injuries. As with any medical product, consult with a healthcare provider for serious injuries.
How long does SEAL last once applied?
SEAL's gel barrier remains effective for up to 24 hours. However, it's recommended to seek professional medical care as soon as possible. The barrier can be easily removed when proper wound treatment is available.
What's the shelf life of SEAL?
SEAL has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored properly. Each canister is marked with an expiration date. Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and extreme heat for maximum effectiveness.
