Pasé unos días en #wadem2023 y comenzó con una explosión (literalmente) cuando el Dr. Mark Forrest y Jason van der Velde El Grupo ATACC ofrecieron una sesión verdaderamente inmersiva e interactiva sobre algunos aspectos de la medicina antiterrorista. Especialmente las brechas de atención, la resiliencia de los sistemas/comunidades y diferentes aspectos sobre la capacitación. Construyendo el aprendizaje sobre un ataque en evolución en el lugar. Discutir conceptos como Zero respondedores y Stop the Bleed hasta Apoyo médico táctico de emergencia y médicos integrados en equipos de intervención. Personalmente me gustó que plantearon el tema de cómo manejar un ataque en una zona rural.

Especially care gaps, systems/community resilience and different aspects on training. Building the learning on an evolving attack at the venue. Discussing concepts like the Zero responders and Stop the Bleed to Tactical Emergency Medical Support and embedded physicians in intervention teams. I personally liked that they raised the issue of how to handle an attack in a rural area.
