North American Rescue’s S-Rolled Gauze is the ideal solution for a compact, easy to use, premium cotton s-rolled gauze designed for both linear and basic bandaging.  NAR’s S-Rolled Gauze can be used to control hemorrhage in conjunction with a compression bandage, used as backing gauze for hemostatic dressings or for minor wound bandaging. The S-Rolled Gauze is packaged in a unique dispenser that allows for controlled application and protects unused portions from contamination during application. The North American Rescue SPEAR (Simplified Pneumothorax Emergency Air Release) Device is the latest innovation in needle decompression technology. The versatile device has been designed and developed based directly on science, user feedback, and known gaps in the management of tension pneumothorax. Each design feature has been carefully crafted to enhance the user experience and increase the probability of success when a life is on the line. The convenient device allows either lateral decompression or traditional anterior needle thoracostomy. The SPEAR device features a sharper needle point, reducing the amount of force required to insert the needle, as well as a spin-lock features that helps prevent premature separation between the needle and catheter. To help with confirmation of depth and success, the device has centimeter depth markings and a detachable, low pressure one-way check valve that creates an audible whistle as air rushes through. The one-way valve can be removed from the needle and either reapplied to the catheter or left off entirely, according to local protocols. Upon removal of the needle, the remaining catheter is a rigid, kink-resistant material with a soft tip to lessen the impact on possible tissue contact. Also, the catheter features 3 fenestrations (holes) along the length to aid in air flow. The latest TCCC Guidelines have allowed for a 10 Ga Needle in addition to the traditional 14 Ga product. The larger lumen increases the area of flow by more than two and a half times. The additional length of the SPEAR device (total catheter length: 3.75 in.) should allow the user to reach and maintain access to the pleural space in a vast majority of the population. A common complication of a surgical cricothyrotomy procedure is the misplacement of or inability to properly guide the tube into the trachea. To make this procedure, easier, safer, and quicker, rescuers can use a bougie introducer to guide that tube into its proper place. The North American Rescue Tracheostomy Kit with Bougie-Introducer is a convenient device that gives the user a pre-inserted bougie for introduction of the tube into the trachea and indication of correct placement prior to insertion. The bougie-introducer is adjustable for maximum user preference, and the excess can be tucked into the included cap that rests on top of the tracheostomy tube. The North American Rescue Bougie-Aided Cricothyroidotomy Pack (BAC-Pack™) is a comprehensive solution that allows the user to perform a surgical cricothyroidotomy in any environment. With the components arranged by order of use and organized with elastic loops, the BAC-Pack™ is an easy-to-use kit in a small pouch made of durable 500D nylon. The BAC-Pack™ utilizes a purpose-built tube that has a pre-inserted bougie for rapid application, and the bougie is fully adjustable based on the patient’s or provider’s needs. The excess bougie can also be conveniently stored in the one-of-a-kind bougie cap/stopper. The tube meets the TCCC recommendations for the open surgical technique (flanged and cuffed airway cannula of less than 10 mm outer diameter, 6-7 mm internal diameter, and 5- 8 cm of intratracheal length). The BAC-Pack™ also comes with the latest innovation in safety scalpels, the PenBlade #10, for effortless penetration through the cricothyroid membrane and the NAR Tracheal Hook to maintain the opening without worry. A single ChloraPrep™ swabstick, an alcohol pad, and a gauze pad are included for skin prep, and a 10cc syringe and tube securing strap are included for finishing the procedure.

The Tactical CricKit® is the result of an 18 month interface with Military Medical Professionals worldwide. Phase 1 of the project was to define the functional requirements of performing a surgical cricothyroidotomy in the tactical environment. Phase 2 was to initiate the development of a small, easy to use kit that focused on intuitive training behaviors. The result of this effort is the Tactical CricKit®.Supplying the operator with all the necessary tools to conduct a proper cricothyroidotomy in a low cube and ruggedized package, the Tactical CricKit® is the ideal kit for performing a cricothyroidotomy in austere environments. For ease in both training and live fire situations, it’s components are provided in the proper order of use. Once unrolled, the Tactical CricKit’s 500-denier pouch provides a clean working surface for the operator, making it viable for use in low-light and battlefield environments. The Tactical Crickit also provides the user with a tracheal tube that is both the ideal size and length, along with a securing device to aid in secondary treatment and CASEVAC. To combat microbial contamination, the Tactical CricKit® is supplied with alcohol pads for immediate disinfection, and povidone for long-term protection. The Tactical CricKit® was specifically engineered to meet CoTCCC requirements for a surgical airway kit.
