Is the STOMP Tactical Medic Bag sold with medical supplies included?

What is the STOMP bag modeled after?

The STOMP (Special Operations Medical Pack) bag is modeled after the tried-and-proven military first aid trauma pack used by U.S. Navy SEAL Teams. Special Operations medics required a rugged, highly organized bag that could carry comprehensive trauma capability for prolonged casualty care far from resupply — the design priorities that make the STOMP well-suited for tactical medics, search and rescue teams, and any provider who needs serious medical carrying capacity in a field-durable format.

Are the STOMP zippers truly waterproof?

Yes. The STOMP uses heavy-duty waterproof zippers throughout that seal against water intrusion during rain exposure, water crossing, and brief submersion. While the bag is not designed for extended underwater operation, the waterproof zipper specification means the medical contents remain protected during standard tactical field operations including riverine crossings and rain exposure. The 900D nylon shell provides additional water resistance.

How does the lay-flat design improve patient care speed?

The STOMP's full panel lay-flat opening exposes the bag's two interior sections as a flat work surface beside the patient — simultaneously revealing all four accessible surfaces and every item in the bag. Compared to single-opening vertical bags where items must be removed or shifted to access contents below the top layer, the lay-flat design reduces supply search time to near zero. In a multi-casualty or complex trauma scenario, this organization advantage translates directly to faster interventions and better outcomes.

Does the STOMP bag have a backpack carry configuration?

Yes. The STOMP features adjustable shoulder straps for backpack-style carry, a waist belt for load stabilization during movement, support foam on the back panel for all-day carry comfort, and reinforced grab handles on both the top and side for one-handed or two-person carry and passing.
