El sello torácico HyFin® Vent de North American Rescue establece el estándar para la prevención, el manejo y el tratamiento de un neumotórax abierto y/o a tensión potencialmente causado por un traumatismo torácico penetrante. Este innovador dispositivo proporciona 3 canales de ventilación que están diseñados para evitar el flujo de aire hacia la cavidad torácica durante la inhalación y al mismo tiempo permite que el aire escape a través de los canales de ventilación durante la exhalación.
