The EMS Rapid Deployment Kit contains supplies sufficient for treating approximately 2 casualties with tourniquet application, 4 with trauma dressing, and 1 patient requiring chest seal and needle decompression. Are the tourniquets in this kit CoTCCC-recommended?

Yes. The kit includes 2 C-A-T® (Combat Application Tourniquet®) in Orange — CoTCCC-recommended for limb hemorrhage control and the Official Tourniquet of the U.S. Army. The HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack included is also CoTCCC-recommended for penetrating chest wounds.
