Traditional MCI bags require the carrier to reach into a compartment, locate, and pull each kit individually — a process that slows down with each successive kit as the compartment empties. The MCI-TKD's spring-loaded gravity-feed compartment automatically advances each kit to the opening as the previous one is removed, allowing sequential distribution without searching. This enables faster, more continuous distribution of bleeding control kits to casualties while moving through a scene.

The kits are designed so that a responder can hand or throw a kit to an injured bystander who can then follow the instructions to apply a tourniquet and control bleeding while the medic continues to other casualties.

Yes. The NAR® QuikLitter Lite included in the MCI-TKD's front pocket is designed for evacuation of adult-sized casualties. It deploys rapidly from its compact storage form and provides sufficient structure for one- or two-person extraction of a casualty from the point of wounding to a treatment area or ambulance collection point.
