Does the Operator BLS IFAK contain CoTCCC-recommended items?

Yes. The kit includes the CoTCCC-recommended C-A-T® tourniquet and HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seal — two of the highest-priority items on the TCCC casualty care protocol. These items are specifically called out in CoTCCC guidelines for individual first-line care.

Is this kit appropriate for non-medical law enforcement officers?

Yes. The Operator BLS IFAK is designed for operators and officers without advanced medical training. C-A-T® tourniquet application and chest seal placement are core TCCC skills that can be learned in a half-day Stop the Bleed or TCCC Layperson course — both widely available.

Is the MOLLE pouch included with the kit?

Yes, the Operator BLS IFAK ships with the Operator BLS IFAK Pouch pre-packed. The pouch is MOLLE-compatible for body armor and plate carrier attachment.

Can this kit be procured through government supply channels?

What is the difference between BLS and ALS IFAK configurations?

BLS (Basic Life Support) IFAKs contain tourniquets, pressure dressings, hemostatic gauze, chest seals, and gloves — items appropriate for trained laypersons and TCCC-level providers. ALS additions include nasopharyngeal airways, needle decompression catheters, and surgical airway kits — restricted to ALS-credentialed providers.
