The PFC Pouch is the purpose-built housing for the Blue Tide medication panel system. It is what turns a bare board into something you can actually carry — a 420D TPU shell that opens full clamshell so the entire layout lays flat in one motion, with laser-cut MOLLE on the rear and loop Velcro on both interior faces. The interior volume was specified to run two panels at once, not one.

Use cases (when to choose this)
Buy the pouch alone when you already own the board. That is more common than it sounds — panels get bought first, or a team standardizes on the panel and then decides how each medic wants to carry it.
- You own a PFC Panel already and have been carrying it in a hard case or loose in a bag.
- You run NARCO Panels and want a larger housing that will carry two of them side by side on the dual loop faces.
- Second pouch for a second platform — one stays mounted in the vehicle, one rides on the ruck, panels swap between them.
- Replacing a worn shell without repurchasing the board.
If you own neither piece, the combo is the cheaper path.
Setup and use
- Decide the two-face layout first. The interior has loop Velcro on both halves. Most providers run the primary medication board on one face and either a second board, an accessory panel, or a mesh pouch on the other.
- Seat the panel firmly. Press the full hook backing down across the whole face — a partially seated board will peel under vibration.
- Mount the pouch. Weave the laser-cut MOLLE rear onto your ruck, med bag, vehicle panel, or wall board.
- Check the clamshell swing. Mount it somewhere it can actually open flat. A pouch that cannot deploy its own layout is just a bag.
- Label the exterior. The front loop field takes an ID patch. Mark the drug class or the owning medic so nobody opens the wrong pouch under stress.
Comparison vs common alternatives
PFC Pouch vs the NARCO Pouch: the NARCO Pouch is the compact single-panel carrier for the duty narc board. The PFC Pouch is the larger housing — it takes the full-size PFC board and still has a second loop face free. If you are carrying one small panel, the NARCO Pouch is less bulk. If you are carrying a big board or two boards, this is the one.
PFC Pouch vs a hard case: the hard case wins on crush protection and loses on weight, bulk, and mounting. This mounts to MOLLE and rides on a platform; a hard case rides in a bag or gets carried by hand.

A: Yes. The NARCO Panel is physically smaller than the interior face, so it mounts with room left over. Running a full PFC board on one side and a NARCO board on the other is a common configuration.
Q: Is it waterproof?
A: The 420D TPU shell is water-resistant and built to shed weather and abrasion. Treat it as weather protection, not a submersion seal. For temperature- or moisture-sensitive drugs, nest a sealed container inside.
Q: Will the MOLLE rear mount to a plate carrier cummerbund?
A: Physically yes, on any standard PALS field. Whether an 11 × 7 in pouch belongs on your cummerbund is a loadout decision — most people run this on a ruck, a med bag, or a vehicle panel rather than on the body.
Q: Can I use it without a panel at all?
A: You can, but you are paying for an interior loop system you are not using. A plain zip pouch costs less. The value here is the panel mounting.
