FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the internal capacity of the Rig Series EAGLE IFAK Pouch?

The EAGLE Pouch is sized to accommodate a standard TCCC IFAK contents load — tourniquet, hemostatic dressing, chest seal, pressure dressing, NPA, and gloves as a minimum. Refer to the product datasheet for exact internal dimensions.

Does the EAGLE IFAK Pouch have a one-hand accessible opening?

TCCC IFAK protocol requires the kit be accessible by the operator themselves with one hand. The EAGLE Pouch design should allow this — verify the specific opening mechanism and practice one-handed access drills before fielding.

What is the NSN for the Rig Series EAGLE IFAK Pouch?

Contact MED-TAC International for current NSN availability and government procurement options for the Rig Series EAGLE IFAK Pouch as a standalone carrier.

Is the EAGLE IFAK Pouch reusable after a trauma activation?

Yes. After a trauma event, decontaminate the pouch per your unit's protocol, replace all used medical supplies, and return to service. The pouch itself is durable and does not require replacement after use unless physically damaged.

Can the EAGLE IFAK Pouch hold a full SIRK resupply?

The EAGLE Pouch is sized for standard IFAK contents. The Supplemental IFAK Resupply Kit (SIRK) is designed to refill those contents. Whether the full SIRK volume fills the EAGLE exactly depends on the specific SIRK configuration — confirm against the EAGLE's internal dimensions.
