What armor plates fit the TacMed AID Responder Plate Carrier?

The AID Responder accepts 10"×12" shooter's-cut hard armor plates or soft armor panels in both the front and rear plate pockets. This standard size accommodates Level III, Level III+, and Level IV hard plates from most major manufacturers, as well as Level IIIA soft panels. Armor is not included with the carrier and must be purchased separately. TacMed recommends shooter's-cut (rather than SAPI-cut) geometry for the best fit in the AID Responder's pockets.

What is the maximum waist size the AID Responder fits?

The AID Responder is designed as a one-size-fits-most carrier with a maximum waist circumference of 61". The padded shoulder straps adjust via hook-and-loop for plate height, while the side waistband with quick-release buckles provides the circumferential fit adjustment. This design allows the carrier to be pre-staged and rapidly donned by any responder on scene without the delay of size-specific equipment selection.

Does the TacMed AID Responder have MOLLE webbing for pouches?

Yes. The AID Responder features front and rear MOLLE/PALS webbing that accepts standard tactical pouches. RTF personnel commonly attach tourniquet holders, IFAK pouches, and administrative panels to the carrier's webbing to keep hemorrhage control supplies immediately accessible. The carrier's low profile also allows it to be worn under a patrol jacket while still providing MOLLE attachment points on the accessible front face.
