Das TacMed™ LAPD Kit wurde nach den Vorgaben des Los Angeles Police Department entwickelt und ist für den Einsatz durch alle Strafverfolgungsbehörden des Los Angeles County, einschließlich des LA Sheriff's Department, vorgesehen. Es bietet den Polizeibeamten maximale Flexibilität und gleichzeitig eine zielgerichtete Versorgung.
Die Tasche wird am Bein getragen und direkt am Gürtel des Beamten oder an einer Tourniquet-Tasche am Gürtel befestigt. Wenn die Tasche zusammen mit der Tourniquet-Tasche getragen wird, bietet der abnehmbare untere Teil des Kits zusätzliche medizinische Möglichkeiten, wenn die Situation dies erfordert, während die Tourniquet-Tasche am Gürtel des Beamten sofort griffbereit ist.
Die Tasche ist in zwei Ausführungen erhältlich: mit einem 1,5 Zoll breiten Beingurt oder einem 2 Zoll breiten Beingurt. Beide Gurtvarianten sind verstellbar und mit einem schwarzen D-Ring ausgestattet. Der D-Ring bietet im Notfall eine schnelle Befestigung an einem Schlüsselclip oder Gürtelhalter. Diese Tasche wird in verschiedenen Größen für verschiedene medizinische Anforderungen angeboten.
