Chase Tactical Adjustable Radio Pouch

A universal MOLLE radio carrier with an internal Velcro height strip and elastic cord retention, so one pouch fits handhelds of different heights instead of one specific model. Built in Mil-Spec IR-treated 500D Cordura® with IR-treated webbing to keep the infrared signature low under night vision and thermal.

Universal adjustable fitIR-treated 500D Cordura®MOLLE / PALS0.5 lb

Set the radio so the push-to-talk lands where your hand already goes. Everything else about the pouch is secondary to that one adjustment.

What's Included

One pouch per unit, in four colorways. Construction is identical across the range. Tap a colorway.

IR treatment reduces infrared reflectance; it is not a thermal-signature suppressant and does not conceal body heat.

▾Who Carries It

Tactical operators and military units carrying a handheld on the carrier front or cummerbund · Law enforcement tactical teams standardising one pouch across mixed radio inventories · Fire, EMS and rescue task force personnel who need the radio secured but reachable in one pull.

Because the pouch is universal rather than model-specific, confirm the fit against your own radio and antenna before issuing at scale — the adjustment range is wide but finite, and a radio that sits too low buries the channel selector.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What radios are compatible with the Chase Tactical Adjustable Radio Pouch?

The Chase Tactical Adjustable Radio Pouch is designed as a universal fit — the internal Velcro height-adjustment strip and elastic cord bungee allow it to accommodate a wide range of tactical and commercial radio units. Common compatible radios include MBITR (PRC-148), PRC-152, PRC-163, Harris Falcon radios, Motorola APX series, Kenwood TK/NX series, and similar form-factor handhelds. For very large or unusually shaped radio housings, verify dimensions against the pouch opening before purchase.

What does Mil-Spec IR treatment mean for tactical pouches?

Mil-Spec IR (infrared) treatment is a fabric and webbing coating applied at the source (during manufacturing) that reduces the material's infrared reflectance signature. Standard nylon and Cordura fabrics reflect infrared radiation differently than natural vegetation and backgrounds, making them visible to night vision devices (NVGs) and thermal imaging systems. IR-treated materials reduce this contrast to match natural background IR profiles, maintaining the operator's low observable signature in NVG and thermal operations.

How does the internal Velcro height-adjustment strip work?

Inside the radio pouch, a Velcro strip runs vertically along the back wall. A matching Velcro patch on a movable internal platform (or directly on the pouch interior) allows the operator to set the effective base height of the radio within the pouch — raising or lowering the radio's resting position by 1–3 inches depending on the radio's height relative to the pouch depth. This ensures the radio's controls and antenna port are optimally positioned relative to the pouch opening for quick extraction and control access.

Can this pouch be mounted on a war belt as well as a plate carrier?

Yes. The MOLLE/PALS attachment system is compatible with any MOLLE-pattern platform including plate carriers, war belts, chest rigs, assault vests, and tactical backpack MOLLE panels. The 500D Cordura construction and Mil-Spec webbing are robust enough for war belt mounted carry, which subjects pouches to more vertical load and movement stress than vest-mounted configurations.

Does the elastic cord retention allow one-handed radio extraction?

Yes. The elastic cord bungee retention system allows the radio to be extracted with a single upward pull — the elastic cord stretches and releases the radio from the pouch. Unlike snap or buckle retention systems that require two-handed operation to release, the elastic cord system allows gloved one-handed extraction in the same motion as picking up the radio. Radio re-stowing is equally simple — insert the radio and the elastic cord retains it under tension.
