Chase Tactical Double Pistol Mag Pouch

A compact MOLLE pouch carrying two double-stack pistol magazines, with independently adjustable retention and a cover flap that rolls down for an open-top draw or deploys to keep debris and snags off the magazine tops. Approximately 0.5 lb.

2 double-stack magsRollable cover flapAdjustable retention~0.5 lb (227 g)

Retention is a setting, not a feature: a strap tuned to the magazine you actually carry is the difference between a clean draw and a lost mag.

▾Who Carries It

Law enforcement officers and duty personnel carrying a sidearm as a secondary weapon · Security professionals and protective details running a battle belt or low-profile chest rig · Military personnel whose loadout doctrine keeps two spare pistol magazines on the vest · Range instructors and competitors who need consolidated, individually adjustable magazine carry.

The pouch consolidates two magazines onto a single MOLLE footprint while keeping each one independently accessible. The flap is the trade-off control: Rolled down, it exposes the magazine tops for a fast one-handed draw; deployed, it covers them where water, debris or inadvertent contact could dislodge a magazine. Which state you run is a mission and policy call.

Magazine carriage, retention settings and weapon-handling standards are set by your agency’s policy and your qualification, not by the pouch.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What pistol magazines fit in the Chase Tactical Double Pistol Mag Pouch?

The pouch is designed for double-stack pistol magazines in standard duty-pistol sizes — including Glock 17/19 (9mm), Sig P320, Beretta M9/M17, Smith & Wesson M&P, and similar service pistol magazines. The adjustable retention straps can accommodate the range of double-stack magazine body widths across major duty pistol platforms. Single-stack or compact magazines will also fit but may require maximum retention adjustment.

How does the cover flap work on the Chase Tactical Pistol Mag Pouch?

The cover flap rolls downward and secures flat against the front of the pouch using hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure when you want open-top access for fast magazine retrieval. In open-top configuration, magazines can be drawn directly without manipulating any closure. When deployed, the flap covers the magazine tops, protecting them from debris and preventing accidental dislodgment. The flap can be rolled and secured or deployed in seconds, allowing you to transition between configurations based on the operational situation.

Is this pouch compatible with extended-capacity or drum pistol magazines?

The Chase Tactical Double Pistol Mag Pouch is designed for standard double-stack pistol magazines. Extended-capacity magazines (e.g., 33-round Glock 9mm mags) have the same body width as standard mags and will fit, but the longer length may protrude above the pouch top — verify this works for your carry configuration. Drum magazines are not compatible with this pouch due to their significantly different geometry.

Can this pouch be used on a battle belt or drop-leg platform?

Yes — the MOLLE attachment is compatible with any MOLLE/PALS webbing surface including battle belts, chest rigs, drop-leg platforms (if MOLLE-equipped), and plate carrier side panels. For battle belt use, position the double pistol mag pouch on the strong-side or support-side belt panel based on your draw preference and existing belt configuration.

Does the Chase Tactical Double Pistol Mag Pouch fit within the LVPC-Elite Active Shooter Kit system?

Yes — the Chase Tactical LVPC-Elite plate carrier includes internal storage pouches for magazines, but the external MOLLE webbing on the LVPC-Elite is also compatible with all Chase Tactical MOLLE pouches including the Double Pistol Mag Pouch. Mounting the pouch externally on the LVPC-Elite's MOLLE platform gives you externally accessible pistol magazine storage to complement the carrier's internal magazine compartments.
