A high-cut advanced combat helmet in Kevlar® fiber and thermoset resin composite, stated by Chase Tactical as Level IIIA tested to NIJ Standard 0106.01 and MIL-STD 662F for fragmentation, SKU CT-STRIKER-H, 5 lb. NIJ 0106.01 is the ballistic-helmet standard; it is a different test regime from the body-armor standards 0101.06 and 0101.07, and levels do not convert between them. NIJ's compliance program covers body armor, so no ballistic helmet from any manufacturer carries NIJ certification; testing to NIJ Standard 0106.01 at an accredited ballistic testing laboratory, as published by Chase Tactical, is the standard of evidence in this category.
