A three-magazine 5.56 panel with independent bungee-and-Hypalon retention in every compartment, so a magazine can be drawn from any slot without disturbing its neighbours. The flat side-by-side layout keeps three magazines inside one continuous MOLLE run rather than stacking them front to back, which matters in a vehicle seat and in a doorway.

Does the Chase Tactical Triple 5.56 Mag Pouch have individual retention for each compartment?

Yes. Each of the three compartments has its own independent bungee-and-Hypalon retention system. Removing a magazine from one compartment does not affect the retention of the adjacent magazines. This independent retention design is critical for operational use — drawing your third magazine should feel the same as drawing your first, with no loss of retention security in the remaining loaded compartments.

How does the side-by-side panel configuration affect the vest profile?

The side-by-side (flat panel) configuration positions all three magazines in a single horizontal row rather than stacking them front-to-back in a deep pouch. This keeps the pouch's depth (front-to-back protrusion from the carrier face) minimal — similar to a single mag pouch — while providing three-magazine capacity across the horizontal MOLLE run. The result is a vest profile that remains manageable for vehicle operations, seated positions, and CQB navigation.

What is the Triple 5.56 Mag Pouch made of?

The pouch is constructed from 500D solution-dyed Cordura® nylon — a medium-weight, color-stable fabric sourced to U.S. Mil-Spec standards by Chase Tactical. All attachment hardware and bungee components are also Mil-Spec sourced. The pouch is reverse-stitched at bungee anchor points and MOLLE attachment tabs to prevent thread separation at the highest-stress locations. Chase Tactical products are Made in USA.

What is the difference between the Triple 5.56 and the Triple Kangaroo pouch?

The Triple 5.56 Mag Pouch (CT-20556MP3) holds three 5.56mm rifle magazines only — three bungee compartments, no pistol compartment. The Triple Kangaroo (CT-20K5PMP3) holds three 5.56mm rifle magazines and three pistol magazines — each rifle compartment has a front kangaroo sub-compartment for a pistol magazine. Choose the Triple 5.56 for dedicated rifle magazine staging; choose the Triple Kangaroo if you also need pistol magazines staged in the same pouch footprint.
