Layout follows the Elite Bags PARAMED design; the tactical version differs in its non-reflective, patch-free exterior.

Who Carries It

Tactical EMS and SWAT medics needing a low-visibility pack that still organizes like a paramedic bag · Military medical personnel operating dismounted where a red cross or reflective panel is unwanted · Wildland fire and search-and-rescue medics carrying over distance with hydration and a rain cover · Agencies standardizing module layout so any medic can work any pack.

The pack ships as a carrier. Each service loads its modules to its own protocol and scope of practice; oxygen, advanced airway and medication capability depend on the provider's certification, not on the bag.

Suggested Module Loadout — Not Included

Elite Bags publishes a typical tactical ALS arrangement for the three modules. None of these items ship with the pack — they are listed only to show how the layout is intended to be used.

  • Airway/BLS module — bag-valve mask, OPA/NPA set, suction disposables
  • Bleeding/trauma module — tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, pressure dressings, chest seals
  • Diagnostics/medications module — BP cuff, stethoscope, pulse oximeter, glucometer, ampoule organizer
  • MOLLE exterior — quick-access tourniquet holder, supplemental IFAK, radio pouch

CLINICAL RATIONALE

Evidence & Training Rationale

  • Clear-view compartments reduce search time—transparent lids and color coding support rapid item identification under stress and low light.
  • Modular layout supports role-based packing—swap pouches as missions change without rebuilding the whole bag.
  • Hydration & O2 options—on-pack carriage keeps hands free during long approaches and evac.
  • Weather resilience—integrated rain cover protects contents during downpours and decon spray-downs.

Pack by treatment sequence (MARCH/primary survey): bleed control and airway tools to the first-open panel; diagnostics/meds on the pull-out insert; bulk dressings and splints to main cavity; litter/blanket on bottom straps. Rehearse blind retrieval of tourniquet, chest seal, and airway adjuncts using the clear-pouch system.
