The source page marks all four of the tourniquet, ETD, QuikClot BCD and HyFin chest seal as "CoTCCC-recommended". Only the SOFT-T Wide® and the HyFin® vented chest seal hold that status on the current device list; the ETD is a pressure dressing and the QuikClot BCD is not the same product as QuikClot Combat Gauze. Those two annotations have therefore been withheld pending confirmation. Note also that a kit is never itself CoTCCC-recommended — the recommendation attaches to individual devices.

Venues that already run ZOLL AED stations and want cardiac and trauma response from a single vendor at the same installation point · Schools, stadiums, transit hubs and large workplaces planning for a multi-victim event rather than a single injury · Public-access bleeding control programmes where the supplies must be usable by an untrained bystander — hence a care card in every set · Facilities consolidating supply points, where four organized sets at one location beat four scattered single kits.

Tourniquet application and wound packing are lay-responder skills taught in a short course, and the Public Access Care Card is a prompt rather than a substitute for that training. A station kit is only as good as the number of people in the building who have opened one before.
