Trousers you kneel in fail at the seat and the knees first. Reinforcement there, and a waist that still fits after a plate carrier goes on, is most of what separates a duty pant from a hiking pant.

What's Included

One pair of trousers per order, in the selected pattern and waist size. Nothing about what ships changes with either - only the fit and the fabric print. Tap a section to read what is in the package and how the sizing works.

▾Who Carries It

Law enforcement and tactical units working urban and transitional terrain · Military and contract personnel on multi-day deployments where laundering is limited · Tactical medics and TEMS who spend the job kneeling and need the seat and knees to survive it · Range instructors and training cadre.

Size the waist to how you actually wear it - the Easy-Fit waist absorbs the change between a base layer and a loaded belt, but it will not rescue a size that was wrong to start with. These are duty trousers, not protective clothing: No flame-resistance, cut-resistance or ballistic rating is claimed for them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between A-TACS AU and A-TACS Ghost patterns?

A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) uses warm earth tones — tan, brown, and muted green — designed for arid, desert, and transitional terrain. A-TACS Ghost uses cooler, desaturated grey-green tones optimized for urban environments, low-light conditions, and overcast terrain. Both use organic, non-geometric pattern shapes to break up the human silhouette more effectively than traditional grid-based camouflage.

What does the Easy-Fit™ self-adjusting waist system do?

The Easy-Fit™ system provides up to 50% waist adjustment without external belt or drawstring — allowing the waistband to conform to the wearer's size across a range of body compositions and layering configurations. This is particularly useful for operators who wear body armor or plate carriers with different base layer thicknesses, or whose weight fluctuates during deployment.

What is Bionic-Finish® and how does it affect the pant's weather resistance?

Bionic-Finish® is a durable water repellency (DWR) treatment applied to the fabric that causes water, mud, and light stains to bead and roll off rather than soaking in. This reduces fabric weight when wet, maintains breathability, and extends the pant's performance in rain and damp environments. The treatment is integrated into the fabric at manufacture and withstands repeated laundering better than surface-applied DWR sprays.

Are the SK7 EON R pants made in the USA?

SK7 USA (707 Tactical Gear™) uses U.S.-made YKK® zippers and U.S.-manufactured micro ripstop fabric options in the EON R line. The pants carry U.S. patent-pending design No. 29669087. Buyers seeking specific country-of-origin documentation for procurement purposes should contact MED-TAC International directly for manufacturer certificates of origin.

How do the reinforced knees and seat improve longevity?

The reinforced knees and double-layer seat address the highest-wear zones for operators who spend significant time kneeling, crawling, or working on rough surfaces. Standard single-layer tactical fabric at these contact points typically wears thin within 6–12 months of regular field use. The reinforced construction at these zones extends the pant's service life significantly, reducing replacement frequency and total cost of ownership for units that issue tactical trousers at scale.
