Under a plate carrier, a shirt is a heat-management decision before it is a uniform decision. Weave and blend matter more than the color on the rack.

▾Who Carries It

Law enforcement duty and plainclothes officers on a departmental uniform standard · Military and security contractors matching shirt to pant in one pattern · TEMS and Rescue Task Force personnel wearing a shirt under a plate carrier for extended periods, where breathability and odour control matter more than appearance · Training cadre who need a durable garment that survives repeated laundering.

No training threshold applies to a shirt. Two procurement points do. This garment carries no flame-resistance claim — do not put it in a role that requires FR clothing. And with 80 color-and-size variants, order one against a known garment before committing a unit buy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the SK7 EON R Tactical Shirt match the EON R Tactical Pants for a coordinated uniform?

Yes. The SK7 EON R Shirt and Pant share the same patent-pending design number (No. 29669087), the same solid color options (Black, Ranger Green, Coyote Tan), and the same fabric technology stack including Bionic-Finish® DWR and Silverplus® antimicrobial treatment. This enables a coordinated full-kit uniform where shirt and pant age, wash, and wear consistently together over time.

What fabric blend is used in the SK7 EON R Tactical Shirt?

The EON R Tactical Shirt uses a 50% polyester / 50% cotton fade-resistant micro-ripstop fabric. This blend balances the moisture-wicking and durability properties of polyester with the natural breathability and feel of cotton — making it practical for extended wear under body armor or plate carriers where heat management is critical. The micro-ripstop weave adds tear-resistance without significantly increasing fabric weight.

Can this shirt be worn as an outer layer or only under body armor?

The SK7 EON R Tactical Shirt is designed for both configurations. As a standalone outer layer, it presents a professional tactical appearance suitable for law enforcement patrol, security operations, or training environments. Under body armor or plate carriers, the micro-ripstop fabric and moisture-managing blend reduce hot spots and maintain comfort during extended wear. The Bionic-Finish® DWR treatment helps the shirt stay dry and lighter-weight in outdoor conditions.

How does the Silverplus® antimicrobial treatment work in tactical shirts?

Silverplus® embeds silver ions into the fabric fibers during manufacturing. Silver ions are a natural antimicrobial agent that disrupts the cellular processes of odor-causing bacteria — preventing them from colonizing the fabric and producing odor compounds. Unlike topical antimicrobial sprays that wash out, Silverplus® is integrated into the fiber structure and maintains effectiveness through many wash cycles, making it practically useful for multi-day operations without laundering.

What size range is available for the SK7 EON R Tactical Shirt?

The SK7 EON R Tactical Shirt is available from Small through 2XL+ across multiple color options. Exact size availability may vary by color. Contact MED-TAC International for current in-stock sizes or to inquire about specific size/color combinations for bulk orders.
