TACMED™ Patrol Rifle Response Pouch
A 9″ H × 8.5″ W × 5.5″ D drop-leg law-enforcement platform, 1.13 lb empty, that pairs an internal medical compartment with external carry for two 30-round M4/AR15 magazines and a MOLLE-attaching exterior face. One attachment footprint instead of two. Sold as the pouch only — no medical supplies and no magazines.
Pouch only — sold empty2 × 30-rd M4/AR15 externally9 × 8.5 × 5.5 in · 1.13 lbDrop-leg, belt or MOLLE

An officer who deploys a rifle will need a reload or a tourniquet on the same call — carrying both on one platform is the point.

VIEW ▾Layout, Mounting & Fill Guidance — how the pouch is built and what it is sized to hold
  • Built around one specific scenario: a patrol officer who deploys a rifle on a critical incident and needs ammunition resupply and medical treatment capability in the same platform
  • Drop-leg format keeps the pouch reachable while seated in a patrol vehicle and clear of the vest real estate armor and primary kit already occupy
  • Attaches to a duty belt using integrated buckles, or transitions to a leg platform when moving from vehicle to foot patrol
  • Consolidates a magazine carrier and an IFAK into one attachment footprint and one grab point instead of two
  • MOLLE-compatible exterior face accepts tourniquet holders, glove pouches, utility pouches, handcuff cases or admin panels
  • Designed to integrate with the TacMed™ Patrol Trauma Response Kit via the optional Pouch-Attaching Strap, and with select belt-mounted tourniquet holders
  • Sized for a full personal trauma load: a tourniquet, a modular bandage, chest seals, an NPA, shears and a casualty card — all sold separately
  • Tourniquets are applied high and tight on the proximal third of the limb and never across a joint

Who Carries It

Patrol officers who deploy a rifle and need both a reload and a trauma kit on one platform · Vehicle-mounted officers who need the kit reachable seated and transferable to a leg rig on foot · Officers already carrying a Patrol Trauma Response Kit who want to scale the loadout up for rifle-response incidents · TEMS personnel embedded with patrol teams who need magazine carry alongside a trauma load.

Compared with a separate two-magazine pouch plus an IFAK, this consolidates two attachment points and roughly twice the frontal profile into one 9″ × 8.5″ × 5.5″ package at 1.13 lb. Compared with the Ballistic Response Pack, it trades some medical depth for magazine carry — the BRP is the better choice for an officer who will not deploy a rifle. Because it ships empty, capability is set entirely by what the buyer loads and by the training behind it.
