The Full Kit w/Compressed Gauze (UMKB-COMP) includes standard compressed gauze for wound packing, which is appropriate for most bleeding wounds. The Full Kit w/Combat Gauze (UMKB-CG) substitutes CoTCCC-recommended Combat Gauze® (QuikClot® kaolin-impregnated hemostatic gauze), which is preferred for high-volume or arterial bleeding where hemostatic enhancement is critical.

Is the SOF-T-W in the UMK CoTCCC-recommended?
