Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch

A CORDURA® 700 den clamshell IFAK pouch, 20 × 14 × 5 cm and about 2 litres, that mounts to any MOLLE/PALS plate carrier, chest rig or belt up to 50 mm. A removable pull-out panel with dual-color index tabs deploys the loadout bi-directionally and single-handed, and the fold-open body gives an immediate visual inventory. Capacity for a tourniquet, compressed gauze, a chest seal and gloves. Sold empty.

The pouch itself carries no CoTCCC status — CoTCCC recommendations apply to the supplies, not to a carrier. Stock it accordingly: a CoTCCC-recommended tourniquet such as a C-A-T or SOF-T Wide, compressed or hemostatic gauze, a vented chest seal and gloves, laid out so the red index tabs sit on what has to come out first.

What material is the Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch made from?

The standard IFAK Pouch uses CORDURA® 700 Denier nylon in Black, Coyote Tan, and Olive Drab. The Multicam version uses CORDURA® 500D. Both fabrics offer high abrasion resistance, water repellency, and tear strength meeting NATO STANAG specifications for tactical gear.

How does the pull-out inner panel work?

The IFAK Pouch features a removable inner panel secured by bungee cord retention. When the hook-and-loop flap is opened, the operator can pull out the entire inner panel — with all medical supplies still attached — for treatment table use or rapid deployment. This allows one-handed staged access and is aligned with TCCC rapid treatment protocols.

Is the Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems?

Yes. The pouch features MOLLE/PALS attachment loops and button snap straps for secure mounting to plate carriers, tactical vests, assault packs, and belts up to 50mm wide. The snap-button retention prevents the pouch from shifting during dynamic movements.

What medical supplies can fit in the Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch?

The standard 9" × 6" × 2" footprint accommodates a complete TCCC-aligned IFAK: one tourniquet (CAT Gen 7 or SAM XT), a 4" or 6" pressure dressing, hemostatic gauze, HyFin chest seal twin pack, NPA airway, and a pair of trauma gloves.
