TrueClot Chest Seal Application Trainer (CSAT)

A chest-seal trainer that works two ways from one case: flat on a table for a skill station, or strapped to a MOLLE vest so a student has to seal a moving patient. Entry and exit wounds bleed, the chest simulates bubbling and breathing, and a seal placed on it vents and seals the way a real one does. Real chest seals go on it, come off, and go on again.

A seal placed on a still tabletop torso is a different skill from a seal placed on a chest that is moving and wet. This trainer makes a program teach both.

What's Included

A wearable training aid, not a stocked medical kit. The same trainer ships in two skin tones — Light (5214-L) and Dark (5214-D) — and tone is the only difference. Tap the first section for what is in the case and the second for the tone and item-number map.

The dual-use design is the reason to choose it. On the table, students learn the mechanics: expose, wipe, place, burp. On the vest, a role player breathes and moves, and the student has to seal a wound that is not sitting still — which is where most of the failures actually happen.
