What FDA clearance and the CE mark cover here is the dressings themselves, not any clinical outcome. The stable-sheeting hydrogel is the reason for the format: the cross-linked matrix keeps gel on the wound surface while a patient is moved rather than running off, absorbs wound secretions into the matrix, and holds cooling relief for up to 24 hours. This kit covers dressing and cooling only — a major burn still needs fluid resuscitation, airway assessment for inhalation injury, and transport to a burn centre, none of which is in the case.
