PRODUCT INFORMATION
Defibtech · Automated Chest Compression
Lifeline ARM XR Automatic Chest Compression Device
A 16.4 lb mechanical CPR device (model RMU-2000) that delivers 100-110 compressions per minute at a depth the device sets itself from the patient's anterior-posterior chest diameter. A suction-cup piston provides active recoil; one 18 V lithium-ion battery runs it for an hour. It packs into a 21 x 19 x 11 in. Backpack case for ambulance, ED and rotary-wing use.

Manual compression quality falls off inside two minutes and nobody notices from the inside. A machine does not get tired during a forty-minute extrication.

Figures above are Defibtech's device specifications. The chest width and height figures are the device's mechanical fitting limits, not a clinical patient-selection rule. Whether to place a mechanical CPR device on a given patient, and how it fits into your resuscitation algorithm, is governed by your protocol, your medical direction and Defibtech's instructions for use.

▾Who Carries It

EMS agencies running cardiac arrests through extended extrication, stair evacuation and long ground transport, where manual compression quality is the limiting factor · Emergency departments and resuscitation teams holding compression quality steady through procedures and staff changeover · HEMS and critical-care transport where in-flight manual CPR is impractical · Industrial and remote medical programs with long definitive-care intervals.

Scope of practice and training. This is a clinician-operated resuscitation device. Placement, mode selection, interruption management and integration with defibrillation and airway management require device-specific training and operation under your protocol and medical direction. Follow Defibtech's instructions for use.
