What is the UNO Traction Splint and how is it different from traditional splints?

The UNO is a modular polymer splinting system whose entire frame surface is covered in hook-and-loop straps, allowing multiple UNO units to be attached to each other and to standard TCCC equipment. Unlike traditional fixed-format splints that are designed for specific injuries or limb sizes, the UNO's stepless adjustment and modular connectivity allow it to adapt to any limb size, injury type (upper limbs, lower limbs, head, neck, pelvis), and multi-casualty scenario.

Can multiple UNO units be connected together?

Yes. The full-surface hook-and-loop coverage on the UNO frame allows any number of UNO units to attach to each other, creating a longer splinting span for larger fractures or for connecting splints across multiple injury sites. The three-pack provides three units that can work independently or together for multi-patient or multi-limb splinting scenarios.

Is the UNO compatible with TCCC equipment?

Yes. The UNO is specifically designed to remain compatible with tourniquets, intraosseous needles, wound dressings, larynx masks, spine boards, intubation tubes, tracheostomy tubes, and cervical collar splints. How compact is the UNO for kit carry?
