Vanquest JAVELIN-18 Backpack

An 18-litre convertible sling and backpack in 500-D mil-grade Cordura with a DWR finish, organized across 24 compartments and slots. The main compartment opens clamshell for full access, the shoulder straps convert between two-shoulder and single-shoulder sling carry, and MOLLE-Air side panels take a FATPack or other medical pouch when the bag has to do more than carry a laptop. 2.87 lb; sold as the pack only, with no medical supplies included.

How does the convertible carry system work in the field?

The shoulder straps are secured with hook-and-loop fasteners and G-hooks at the base. To convert from dual-shoulder backpack to single-shoulder sling, the straps are disconnected at the G-hooks and reattached for right or left shoulder carry. The transition takes under 30 seconds and requires no tools.
