El botiquín de primeros auxilios adaptativo TacMed™, o AFAK, es un kit compacto que proporciona al soldado o agente de la ley el equipo de salvamento necesario para tratar eficazmente las lesiones comúnmente asociadas con el trauma de combate.

El diseño innovador de la bolsa y la correa de torniquete incluida permiten montar el kit vertical u horizontalmente en cualquier superficie MOLLE, lo que permite al usuario aprovechar el espacio no utilizado y priorizar la disposición individual del equipo. El AFAK también se puede adaptar a un cinturón MOLLE para operadores que requieren capacidad de autoayuda cuando no utilizan un sistema de armadura corporal.

El inserto extraíble y el cordón opcional permiten la colocación "en la parte baja de la espalda" con retención positiva del kit. Una plataforma MOLLE adicional en el exterior de la bolsa ayuda a maximizar el espacio disponible para las preferencias de equipo del usuario. El sistema de correa de torniquete incluido también es totalmente adaptable para la colocación vertical y horizontal según la preferencia del usuario de acceso con ambas manos.
