The EMS-Man/Woman is available in both male (SKU prefix TR0200US) and female (TR0230US) configurations, each in three skin tones: Dark (-01), Tan (-02), and Light (-03). This gives training programs six distinct casualty presentations for inclusive and diverse scenario design.

Does the EMS-Manikin support tactical hemorrhage control training including tourniquet application?

Yes. The manikin includes a removable lower-leg amputation with active bleeding capability, packable thigh and groin wounds for junctional hemorrhage control practice, and extremity anatomy configured for tourniquet application and wound packing. These capabilities make it suitable for full TCCC scenario design including Care Under Fire, Tactical Field Care, and Tactical Evacuation phases.

What is the SIMBODIES restoration program and is it included?

SIMBODIES offers two optional paid restoration programs as an add-on to the standard 1-year warranty. The Single Year program entitles the owner to one professional 12-step restoration within 12 months of receipt. The Multi-Year (3) program provides one restoration per year for three years. Restoration includes needle-puncture skin repairs, IO pod replacement, airway inspection and sanitization, minor amputation sleeve repairs, and blood coloring refresh — significantly extending the service life of the manikin investment.

Can the EMS-Manikin be used for search and rescue training?

Yes. The EMS-Man/Woman weighs up to 78 lb — consistent with a real adult casualty — making it suitable for realistic casualty drag, carry, two-person lift, and stretcher-loading exercises. Its durable construction is designed to withstand outdoor terrain, extreme weather, and the physical stresses of search-and-rescue training environments.

What blood system does the EMS-Manikin use, and how is it refilled?

The SIMBODIES EMS-Man/Woman is equipped with two blood pumps and two amputation sleeves for bilateral limb bleeding simulation, plus blood-filled intraosseous sites. Can the EMS-Manikin airway be used for supraglottic airway device insertion?

Yes. The cadaver-casted airway is designed to accommodate the full range of airway adjuncts — including laryngeal mask airways (LMA), i-gel, King LT, and other supraglottic devices — alongside direct and video laryngoscopy for tracheal intubation and nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal airway insertion.

Is there a female version of the EMS-Manikin?
