NAR-6 Kit

A low-profile 500D CORDURA casualty response bag carrying five C-A-T tourniquets, four chest seal twin packs, and burn, splinting and hypothermia management — enough to work multiple casualties without resupply. Six modular hook-and-loop pouches and detachable MOLLE panels let the load be reorganized to unit protocol; an externally accessible bottom pouch pulls as a standalone IFAK without opening the bag. Three configurations in Black and Coyote Tan.

The Advanced configuration carries the Cyclone Pocket BVM in place of the CPR Pocket Resuscitator. Surgical cricothyroidotomy, nasopharyngeal airway placement, needle decompression and vascular access are provider-scope interventions — for trained, credentialed providers operating under medical direction only.

Basic is the full bag without hemostatic gauze — appropriate where agency protocol restricts hemostatics or where they are sourced separately. Basic w/Combat Gauze is the standard responder build. Advanced adds surgical airway, needle decompression, positive-pressure ventilation and saline lock capability and should be issued only to providers credentialed for those interventions.

What is the difference between the three NAR-6 configurations?

All three ship in the same NAR-6 bag with the same base loadout of five C-A-T tourniquets, chest seals, dressings, burn and hypothermia management. Basic w/Combat Gauze adds two QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-Fold hemostatic dressings and a CPR Pocket Resuscitator. Advanced adds the hemostatic gauze plus nasopharyngeal airways, a Cyclone Pocket BVM, the BAC-Pack Bougie-Aided Cricothyroidotomy Pack, two Enhanced ARS needles and two saline lock kits.

Who should carry the Advanced configuration?

The Advanced configuration contains a surgical cricothyroidotomy pack, needle decompression catheters, nasopharyngeal airways and vascular access supplies. These are provider-scope interventions. Issue the Advanced tier only to providers trained and credentialed for them under your agency or unit medical direction; Basic w/Combat Gauze is the correct build for non-provider responders.

How many casualties will the NAR-6 support?

The kit carries five C-A-T tourniquets, four HyFin Vent Chest Seal twin packs and multiple dressings and packing gauze, which supports sustained treatment of multiple casualties rather than a single patient. Actual casualty count depends on injury pattern and how much of the load is expended per patient.

Can the NAR-6 bag be purchased empty?

Yes. North American Rescue offers the NAR-6 as a bag-only option for units that build their own loadout. Contact MED-TAC International for bag-only pricing and availability.

Is the NAR-6 Kit available for agency and government procurement?
