REX Accessory Panel (Full) – Blue Tide Innovations
A 6 in × 8¾ in laser-cut retention board with Blue Tide's Laser-cut Lock Matrix — a slot grid running the whole panel, through which you weave the included elastic cordage to build retention loops where your gear actually needs them. Nothing about the layout is fixed at the factory. Hook backing mounts it to any loop Velcro field. This is the large format, sized to fill one interior face of a REX Case. Panel and cordage only.
6 in × 8¾ in · 2 ozLaser-cut Lock MatrixCordage includedMade in Miami, Florida

A sewn organizer panel arrives with its loop sizes already decided by somebody who has never seen your kit. A slot grid and a length of cord decides nothing until you do.

What's Included

One configuration on this listing. Read this section before you buy — the product photography shows a fully loaded case, and almost none of it ships with this item.

Format Full size
Dimensions 6 in × 8¾ in
Weight 2 oz
Retention system Proprietary Laser-cut Lock Matrix — a slot grid across the panel, with user-woven elastic cordage included
Layout User-configurable. No loop positions or sizes are fixed at manufacture; the cordage pulls out and re-threads as often as the kit changes.

Designed for REX Modular Case (sold separately). Works in any loop-lined case, pouch, bag lid, wall board or vehicle organizer — a REX Case is not required.
Manufacturer sizing guidance Buy the full size when the panel is the main occupant of an interior face. Blue Tide recommends the HALF panel where an accessory panel is being combined with a Velcro mesh pouch and a set of NARCO Panels inside one REX Case.
Related formats Half accessory panel is 4⅜ in × 6 in and shares a face. NARCO and PFC medication panels are purpose-cut for vials and syringes in fixed positions and are separate products.
Country of origin United States — Miami, Florida
Material Not stated on the legacy listing
Cordage length / diameter Not stated on the legacy listing
Product class Organization accessory — not a clinical device, and not regulated as one

Dimensions, weight, retention system, mounting, country of origin and the manufacturer's own full-versus-half guidance are as published on the legacy listing. Two things a buyer might reasonably want are not published and have not been assumed: the panel's material, and the length or diameter of the elastic cordage supplied. If you are planning a specific weave or ordering spare cord, confirm both with Blue Tide Innovations. The single most important line on this page is the exclusion list — the product photography shows a fully configured REX Case, and the case, the other panels, the mesh pouches and every medical item in those images are separate purchases. This is an organization accessory. It holds clinical items; it is not one, it makes no clinical claim, and what you choose to store on it is governed by your own protocol and your own controlled-substance handling rules.

Who Carries It

Medics and paramedics building a case around their own kit rather than around somebody else's idea of a standard layout · Flight, tactical and SOF medical personnel whose loadout changes by mission and who need the layout to change with it · Anyone organizing what a vial board will not hold — supraglottic airways, NPAs, catheters, tubing, flushes, ampules, blister packs, nasal atomizers, auto-injectors, shears, penlights, thermometers · Agencies standardising kit across a fleet who want one repeatable interior layout they can replicate and inspect · Owners of any loop-lined case, not only REX Cases.

What this is and is not. This is an organization accessory, not a clinical device, and nothing about it extends anyone's scope of practice. If you are using it to carry medications, the storage, security, accountability and controlled-substance rules that apply to those medications are set by your service and your licensure and do not change because the panel is configurable. Build the layout, then have whoever owns your drug accountability sign off on it.

Setup & Use

Blue Tide's own guidance for building a layout, reproduced from the legacy listing:

  1. Lay out the gear first, on the bare panel. Do not start weaving until you can see the whole arrangement. Cordage is easy to re-thread, but you will not bother once it is done.
  2. Weave from the center outward. Anchor the items you reach for most in the middle of the board, where your hand lands naturally.
  3. Size each loop to its item, not to the grid. The Lock Matrix gives you slot positions; the tension you pull is what actually holds the item. Too loose and it walks, too tight and you cannot get it out one-handed.
  4. Leave a slot margin at the edges. Items woven right at the perimeter catch on the zipper when the case closes.
  5. Test it upside down. Turn the panel over and shake it. Anything that falls out was not retained — it was resting.
  6. Mount the panel. Press the hook backing firmly across the full face of the loop field.
