TCCC IFAK Skills Kit — All Combatant

A single-student training IFAK in a MOLLE-compatible Coyote tactical bag — blue C-A-T trainer, Combat Gauze trainer, HyFin Chest Seal trainer, ARS needle-decompression kit, NPA, ETD, S-rolled gauze, tape, gloves, marker, and casualty card. Staged to mirror the operational All-Combatant IFAK for individual trauma-lane use.

Single Student IFAKMOLLE / Armor CompatibleTCCC All-CombatantMade In USA

The TCCC All-Combatant standard requires every Soldier to carry an IFAK and demonstrate competency with its contents. Training that competency means each student needs their own kit to stage, access, and deploy under simulated stress — not a shared instructor demo.

How do you give every student a true-to-life IFAK of their own?

A single training IFAK, pre-staged to mirror the operational All-Combatant IFAK packing list, in a MOLLE-compatible Coyote nylon bag that mounts to a vest or plate carrier identically to the fielded version. The blue C-A-T tourniquet is the cornerstone of the kit’s fidelity — it applies, windlasses, and secures through exactly the same sequence as the operational red-band Gen 7, building the motor memory that decides whether a Soldier applies a tourniquet correctly under stress. The Combat Gauze® Trainer replicates the texture and packing behavior of hemostatic gauze without kaolin activation for full-depth packing practice, and the HyFin® Chest Seal Trainer simulates vented-seal application with the same peel-and-press process as the live version. For squad-, platoon-, or company-scale buys, the 25-IFAK Skills Set (SKU 80-0969) provides identical contents at set scale.

Provider scope

This is a training kit. Components included for skills familiarization — the ARS needle-decompression kit and the 28F nasopharyngeal airway — correspond to interventions performed by appropriately trained and credentialed personnel within their scope of practice and under applicable protocols. The kit supports instruction and is not a substitute for an accredited TCCC course.

Why This Kit

One Kit Per Student

Each student stages and runs their own IFAK under simulated stress.

Operational Layout

Same bag, same packing list, same mounting as the fielded All-Combatant IFAK.

Blue C-A-T Fidelity

Identical apply/windlass/secure sequence to the operational Gen 7.

Reusable Trainers

Combat Gauze and HyFin trainers practice technique without live-supply cost.

When to Deploy TCCC IFAK Skills Kit — All Combatant

  • Individual student TCCC training: each student receives one pre-packed MOLLE training IFAK staged identically to the fielded All-Combatant IFAK for carry-and-deploy skill practice.
  • TCCC trauma-lane execution: student stages the kit on their vest, deploys it under simulated stress, and applies tourniquet, chest seal, and airway interventions in sequence.
  • Motor-memory building: identical pouch, bag, and packing sequence to the operational All-Combatant IFAK — every repetition with the trainer builds the exact muscle memory transferred to the live kit.
  • Supplement to 25-IFAK Skills Set: individual kit for flex class sizing or replacement of damaged units from the 25-kit wheeled set.
  • Unit self-assessment: have operators run TCCC task verification with their own training kit to identify skill gaps before deployment or operational rotation.

Best Practice: Do not pre-deploy the kit for the student. The access sequence — staging, locating the red-tip, opening, deploying — is part of the skill. Give each student a staged kit and score the full sequence.

How TCCC IFAK Skills Kit — All Combatant Compares

Individual Kit vs. 25-IFAK Skills Set: The TCCC IFAK Skills Set — All Combatant is 25 of these kits in a wheeled case — the set for a full class. Buy individual kits for flex sizing or damaged-unit replacement.

vs. CLS Individual Training Kit: The TCCC CLS Training Kit — Individual is scoped to CLS curriculum without the ARS and advanced airway items. This All-Combatant kit covers the full eight task areas including needle decompression and NPA.

vs. operational All-Combatant IFAK: Training kit uses inert blue trainers. The operational IFAK carries live CoTCCC-recommended supplies. Stage and mark them separately.

NAR vs. generic training IFAK: Non-NAR training IFAKs may not match the exact pouch geometry, packing order, or component weight of the fielded NAR system — creating a motor-memory gap between training and operational use.

Frequently Asked Questions
