Trauma & First Aid Boating Kit
A vessel-staged kit that meets and exceeds USCG recreational boating first-aid requirements and still carries real trauma capability — a CoTCCC-recommended C-A-T tourniquet and HyFin Vent Chest Seal twin pack — in a water-tight case with an integrated handle. Built for the injuries that actually happen on the water: propeller lacerations, anchor-chain and dock-line crush, hook wounds, engine-fire burns and falls. Three case colors, three hemostatic versions.
Meets & exceeds USCGC-A-T + HyFin VentWater-tight case · 8 lb3 colors · 3 versions

A prop strike opens a femoral vessel and the marina is twenty-five minutes away. Compliance stocks the case; a tourniquet and a vented chest seal are what change the outcome.

Kit Contents by Configuration

Every version carries the same trauma and first-aid backbone; the two upgrade versions add an advanced hemostatic component on top of it. Case colors: Orange · Yellow · Red — contents are identical across colors. Tap a configuration.

Who Carries It

Recreational boaters who need USCG-compliant first aid that also covers life-threatening bleeding · Sport fishing and charter operations dealing with hook wounds, prop strikes and crush injuries far from a dock · Vessel safety and fleet programs that color-code cases to an existing safety-equipment scheme · Marine law enforcement and USCG Auxiliary keeping a boat-dedicated trauma kit separate from the survival kit so supplies are not consumed by routine use.

A vessel-staged kit is not an IFAK. It holds higher-capacity supplies for treating more than one person aboard, and it stays with the boat rather than on the body. Tourniquet application, wound packing and chest-seal placement all require training; the hemostatic versions in particular assume a responder who has been taught to pack a wound. MED-TAC recommends accredited bleeding-control training for anyone who runs offshore with this kit aboard.
