This is a training aid, not a medical device, and nothing in it is evidence-based standard — the trainer is inert, and the status of whichever real chest seal a student practices with does not transfer to it. The trainer reproduces the visible signs of a penetrating chest injury for teaching purposes; it is not a diagnostic model and no clinical claim about pneumothorax or hemopneumothorax management should be read from it. Blood simulant is a recurring consumable: one liter of concentrate ships with the trainer and refills are a separate purchase.
