The alarmed cabinet does two jobs: it deters removal, and the alarm tells people nearby that something is happening — which is often what recruits a second pair of hands. Surface mounting means no wall recess, so it goes on drywall, masonry or metal stud.

An AED is intended for use by responders trained to recognise cardiac arrest and follow the device's prompts. Deployment should sit inside a programme that covers training, monthly readiness checks, electrode and battery expiry tracking, and coordination with your local EMS system.

Why does the cabinet in the Complete Package have an alarm?

The alarmed wall cabinet sounds an alert when the door is opened. This serves two purposes: it acts as a deterrent against unauthorized access or theft, and it alerts nearby personnel that a potential emergency is occurring — helping trigger the coordinated bystander response (calling 911, gathering additional responders) that improves cardiac arrest outcomes.

Does the ZOLL AED Plus Complete Package include pediatric electrodes?

No. The Complete Package includes one set of adult CPR-D-padz® electrodes (for patients 8 years or older / 55 lbs and over). Pedi-padz® II pediatric electrodes for patients under 8 years or 55 lbs are sold separately. For facilities serving children (schools, recreation centers, pediatric clinics), the Pedi-padz II should be purchased and stored with the AED.

Can the Stop the Bleed® AED Kit fit in the cabinet included in this package?

The TACMED Stop the Bleed® AED Kit is designed to fit within standard AED wall cabinet configurations alongside an AED. However, specific cabinet capacity varies by model. For guaranteed compatibility, MED-TAC International recommends confirming the cabinet interior dimensions before adding the Stop the Bleed® kit, or selecting a larger cabinet model from ZOLL's accessory lineup.
