Product Overview
The BurnTec® Burn Dressing Kit is the most comprehensive single-unit burn care solution available through MED-TAC International. By combining 11 individually sterile-packaged BurnTec® hydrogel dressings — spanning nine body dressing sizes and two facial burn masks — into a single organized case, NAR has created a system that can address burns on virtually any body region without requiring the provider to improvise or substitute.
Each included dressing features BurnTec's award-winning stable-sheeting hydrogel technology: a cross-linked polymer matrix of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol, and agar reinforced with medical-quality non-woven fabric. This formulation ensures the gel stays on the wound surface during patient movement, absorbs wound secretions and bacteria within the matrix, and maintains cooling pain relief for up to 24 hours. All dressings are FDA cleared and CE marked.
The kit is ideally suited for emergency response vehicles, fire apparatus burn cabinets, hospital emergency departments, burn center intake stations, military forward surgical teams, and any high-risk environment where burns requiring multi-region coverage are plausible.
