The adjustable retention system accommodates standard 40mm diameter devices. Verify the diameter of your specific device against the pouch's adjustable retention range before use. Non-40mm ordnance should not be carried in this pouch without confirming dimensional compatibility.

How does the Chase Tactical 40mm Pouch attach to a plate carrier?

The pouch uses MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) attachment, the standard webbing system used on tactical plate carriers, vests, and belts. The MOLLE attachment weaves through the MOLLE webbing rows on your carrier in an upright orientation, securing the pouch vertically. MOLLE is compatible with the webbing on all Chase Tactical plate carriers as well as most military and commercially produced tactical vest systems.

Is this the same pouch as the Chase Tactical Double or Triple Flashbang pouch?

No — the CT-25FBP1 series is the single-round version, carrying one device. The Chase Tactical Double Flashbang Pouch (CT-25FBP2) carries two devices and the Triple Flashbang Pouch (CT-25FBP3) carries three. All three use the same Mil-Spec tactical nylon construction and MOLLE mounting system but differ in capacity and external dimensions. Select the single pouch when you need to minimize bulk and weight; the double or triple when multi-round carry is operationally required.

What material is the Chase Tactical Flashbang Pouch made from?

The pouch is constructed from high-quality tactical nylon that exceeds Mil-Spec requirements. Chase Tactical uses 500D Cordura or equivalent solution-dyed nylon throughout their pouch lineup — a durable woven fabric that resists abrasion, tearing, and moisture while maintaining flexibility in cold temperatures. Webbing and hardware are also Mil-Spec rated. This construction standard ensures the pouch retains its structural integrity through extended field use under the weight and vibration of loaded ordnance.

Can the Chase Tactical 40mm Pouch be used on a battle belt or chest rig in addition to a plate carrier?

Yes — the standard MOLLE attachment system is compatible with any MOLLE/PALS webbing platform, including battle belts, chest rigs, assault packs, and vehicle seat MOLLE panels. The upright MOLLE attachment secures the pouch stably on any MOLLE-equipped surface.
