What magazines does the Chase Tactical Single 5.56 Mag Pouch hold?

The pouch holds one standard 5.56mm M4-style magazine — metal or polymer construction. It is compatible with GI aluminum mags, Magpul PMAG, LANCER, and other standard 5.56×45mm M4/AR15 magazines. The pouch is NOT compatible with G36-pattern magazines due to their curved profile. Verify that your magazine's profile and dimensions match the standard M4 footprint before ordering.

What is Hypalon and why is it used for the bungee retention tabs?

Hypalon is a synthetic rubber (CSPE — chlorosulfonated polyethylene) with outstanding resistance to UV radiation, heat, chemicals, and mechanical abrasion. In mag pouch bungee applications, Hypalon maintains its elasticity, surface grip, and structural integrity through thousands of draw/reload cycles and years of exposure to field conditions. Unlike natural rubber or standard EPDM, Hypalon does not degrade, stiffen, or crack under prolonged UV or chemical exposure, making it the preferred material for critical retention components in Mil-Spec gear.

Is the Chase Tactical Single 5.56 Mag Pouch compatible with all MOLLE platforms?

Yes. The pouch uses standard MOLLE/PALS attachment compatible with all modular webbed systems, including plate carriers, chest rigs, battle belts, and backpacks from any manufacturer. The MOLLE back attaches via standard two-row woven routing that requires no tools and locks positively into any PALS grid spacing.

What does 500D solution-dyed Cordura mean?

500D refers to 500-denier Cordura® nylon — a medium-weight fabric balancing durability and flexibility. Solution-dyeing means the color pigment is embedded into the nylon fiber during manufacturing rather than applied as a surface dye. The result is a color that cannot fade, transfer, or bleach out regardless of washing, UV exposure, or chemical contact. Chase Tactical notes this specific Cordura weave softens and improves with extended use, unlike stiffer fabrics that degrade.
