Two-way upper and lower access ports allow treatment interventions through the litter wall while maintaining thermal protection.

Why is the Foldable Drag Litter System (FDLS) better in freezing conditions?

Traditional rolled flexible litters become stiff and brittle at sub-freezing temperatures, making them difficult or impossible to unroll and shape around a patient. The FDLS uses an accordion-fold design that retains flexibility in freezing conditions, deploys rapidly without a rolling sequence, and includes an integrated insulated cocoon for thermal protection during transport.

Is hypothermia prevention a CoTCCC priority?
