The K-9 Handler IFAK is built around CoTCCC-recommended devices for human trauma care — including the C-A-T® tourniquet and HyFin® Vent Chest Seal where included. It is the handler's personal TCCC kit, not a canine medical kit.

Does the K-9 Handler IFAK include canine medical supplies?

No. The K-9 Handler IFAK is configured for human trauma care. Canine medical supplies are covered by the K-9 Tactical Field Kit or K-9 RUF Medical Kit, which should be carried separately.

What is the recommended carry position for the handler IFAK?

Mount on the opposite side of the body from the leash hand to preserve access during handler-dog contact situations. Vertical MOLLE mounting on a plate carrier or horizontal duty-belt carry are both appropriate.
