Is the OCHO IFAK Medic Kit CoTCCC-recommended?

The OCHO contains CoTCCC-recommended items including the C-A-T® tourniquet, HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack, and (in w/Combat Gauze and Advanced tiers) Combat Gauze® LE. The kit itself is a NAR commercial product; individual items meet CoTCCC recommendations as noted per tier.

What training is required to use the OCHO IFAK?

The Basic and Basic w/Combat Gauze configurations contain items usable by anyone with Stop the Bleed or TCCC-level hemorrhage control training. The Advanced tier adds a nasopharyngeal airway and needle decompression kit — those interventions require TCCC, TECC, or equivalent provider training and should only be used by qualified personnel within their scope of practice.

Does the OCHO IFAK fit on any duty belt?

Yes. The OCHO uses a 3-inch belt loop compatible with standard duty belts and pistol belts. It is not MOLLE-compatible — it is specifically designed for belt-loop carry to maintain its low-visibility, non-tactical silhouette.

Is the OCHO available for government/agency procurement?

What is the difference between the OCHO Basic and OCHO Advanced configurations?

Basic: C-A-T® tourniquet, 4″ Flat ETD, S-Rolled Gauze, HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack, Bear Claw® gloves. Basic w/Combat Gauze adds Combat Gauze® LE Z-fold. Advanced adds Combat Gauze® LE, 28F NPA with lubricant, and ARS® 14G × 3.25″ needle decompression kit. All weigh approximately 13 oz and measure 7 × 2.25 × 3.25 inches.
