Every item is within bystander scope of practice, and each kit carries a pictorial just-in-time card that walks an untrained responder through tourniquet application, wound packing and pressure dressing. Co-locate the tote with the AED and the extinguisher so one landmark covers cardiac arrest, hemorrhage and fire. Inspect monthly for expiration dates — hemostatic gauze first — and replace any deployed or expired kit before the tote goes back on the shelf.
