The Quick Access IFAK was developed by MED-TAC International's clinical team as a comprehensive trauma solution spanning the full spectrum of penetrating-wound care: hemorrhage control, chest seal, airway, decompression, and wound closure. The Lightning X LXPB25 pouch was chosen for its dual-zipper quick-drop front panel — pulled open, the front face lays completely flat, exposing all 10 elastic loops and four interior pockets at once. No single pull-tab to fumble; the entire kit is accessible in one motion.
The QuikClot 3″ × 24″ gauze provides kaolin-based hemostasis for penetrating wounds where direct pressure and wound packing are first-line. The ARS 14-gauge needle decompression kit is on hand for tension pneumothorax, and the HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack treats open chest wounds. The NPA supports basic airway positioning.
