Elite Responder QuickLitter

A disposable, no-assembly carry litter built from water-resistant woven polyethylene, weighing 17 oz and folding to a packet 11 inches long. Ten handles support two- to eight-person carries, and North American Rescue states a tested load capacity of 500 lb. Cheap enough to pre-stage throughout a facility and single-use, so it leaves with the patient rather than going back through decontamination.

This is a carry platform, not a spinal device. Where a mechanism suggests spinal injury and the tactical situation permits, package the patient on a rigid board or vacuum splint instead. Litter carries are covered in standard TCCC, TECC and LEFR-TCC evacuation instruction; rehearse the two-person carry and the solo drag before the litter is needed.

What is the weight capacity of the Elite Responder QuickLitter?

The Elite Responder QuickLitter is rated for standard adult casualties. Can one person use the QuickLitter alone?
