Two numbers on the legacy page disagreed with each other — the force target appeared once as “150N / 33 lbs” and once as “150N (33.7 lbs)”. The metric figure is consistent, so 150 N is the specification and 33.7 lb is its conversion; the 33 lb figure is a rounding, not a second value. Latex content and single-use versus reusable status are unpublished and are worth confirming. Two omissions on the page are deliberate. The legacy copy carried a figure for how much blood a displaced pelvic ring can accommodate; that is a statement about an injury, not about this device, and it has not been reproduced. It also described 150 N as the “clinically validated optimal force” — the force target is the manufacturer's, stated as theirs.
