Sked® Rapid Deployment System — Coyote Brown
A purpose-built water rescue platform (SK-650) that puts a fully rigged Sked® stretcher in the water, ready for patient packaging, in under 30 seconds. CO₂ inflatable float logs trigger with two pulls; the complete duffel keeps everything rigged for immediate deployment. Built for Marine, Navy, and Coast Guard use.
What is the Sked® Rapid Deployment System? A pre-rigged water-rescue Sked® housed in a custom duffel with CO₂-triggered inflatable float logs. From a secured vessel the full sequence — unzip, trigger CO₂, pull two straps, drop in water — takes under 30 seconds, with a conscious or semi-conscious patient packaged in another 30. Coyote Brown for maritime special-operations environments.

What It Is
Open-water rescues demand systems that deploy faster than drowning progresses. A standard Sked® stretcher — already one of the fastest-deploying rescue platforms — still requires rigging before water entry. The Rapid Deployment System eliminates this by pre-rigging the entire system inside a custom duffel with CO₂-triggered inflatable float logs that deploy automatically on cartridge activation. From a secured vessel, the entire sequence takes under 30 seconds, and a conscious or semi-conscious patient can be packaged in another 30.
The system is designed for Marine, Navy, and Coast Guard use cases where man-overboard and water-rescue incidents require immediate response from a moving or anchored vessel. The CO₂ float logs provide buoyancy to keep the packaged patient and system afloat, while the SK-652 Sling and Carabiner Float prevents any component from sinking. The Coyote Brown coloring suits maritime special-operations environments where conventional orange would be tactically inappropriate.
For agencies that already own a Sked® Basic Rescue System (SK-200 or SK-200-OR), a Rapid Deployment Conversion Kit is available with all components needed for rapid water deployment except the stretcher body — allowing existing inventory to be upgraded without replacing the complete system.
