It does not extend to the HyFin® Vent chest seal, the compressed gauze, the ETD, the shears or the Hasty Harness — the harness is an extraction device, not a medical device, and carries no evidence-based designation at all. Everything in this kit is a perishable skill. Tourniquet application, wound packing, chest-seal placement and a one-person casualty drag all degrade without practice, and the harness in particular reconfigures between drag, carry and lower in a way that is slow the first time under stress. This kit assumes the carrier has completed bleeding-control and active-threat casualty-care training and works within agency policy. Consumables can be replaced individually; the harness is reusable if undamaged — inspect the webbing after every use.
